We are aware of the importance of lymphology. In particular, chronic oedema conditions can fundamentally change the lives of those affected.
Often overlooked by professionals, misjudged by health policy and payers, lymphology is in a medical niche. Unfortunately, it is frequently relegated to a drawer of prejudices. As a result, there is a risk that interest in lymphology and in further education and training in this field shrinks to a level where the treatment of various patients with oedema conditions cannot be ensured.
