Location & Surroundings

The Földiklinik is situated in the southern Black Forest at an altitude of 900 metres in an area of outstanding natural beauty directly adjacent to a nature reserve. Nevertheless, it is well connected to the public transport network:

• Airplane
  Airports in Basel/Mulhouse, Zurich, Stuttgart, and Frankfurt. There are connections to these airports by train.
• Train
  Main train station in Freiburg im Breisgau. Transfer to regional trains towards Titisee/Neustadt or Seebrugg, destination Hinterzarten station.
• Car
  The road to the Földiklinik is signposted directly at the entrance to Hinterzarten. You can park your car in the public paid parking area near the clinic.

The Black Forest is Germany's highest and largest contiguous mountain range. The globally renowned Titisee lake, with its lakeside promenade, is one of the most popular excursion destinations in all of Europe. Nestled in the picturesque landscape of the High Black Forest and with expansive views up to the Feldberg, this mountain lake is among the cleanest bathing lakes in Germany.

Physical activity is a crucial component of successful treatment for lymphological conditions. Depending on your state of health, the High Black Forest invites you to a variety of physical activities in the immediate vicinity of the Földiklinik.
